Introduction
The changed policy context of 2011 led to decision on merging our existing partnership arrangements for ITT, for School Based ITT and for CPD and forming one partnership in these three key areas of activities.
Middlesex University is committed to working in genuine partnership to develop professional development provision for the Education workforce.

Specific Partnership Modules and Credit
The 30 credit Partnership Option for schools.

Gaining Credit for Non HEI Programmes and Claiming Credit Retrospectively
Credit for Non HEI Programmes
Candidates are advised to register for the Professional Practice module concurrently with any non HEI programme such as a school programme, MLDP, LSLBA etc. They will gain 30 credits at level 6 on production of a portfolio to our specifications, which can be used for a masters award.
Claiming Credit Retrospectively
Credit can be "claimed" from non HEI validated programmes as long as students are able to produce evidence of their learning in the form of a portfolio to our specifications for the Professional Practice Module and on payment of the module fee. This can be used for programmes such as MLDP.
